“Fabulous stay, great hosts, best location”
~ Jim and Sue J. Talifero, ME
Look at an old Hogarth engraving and you will nearly always see a heavily draped bed portrayed in these 18th century prints. That is what you will experience when staying in The Conservancy Room at our Williamsburg B&B.
The beautiful queen four poster bed is fully draped in 18th century style. A candlelight wall sconce adds even more romance to the setting. Many guests consider this to be our most romantic room. In addition to the full bath, there is a small footed tub in the room, dominated by a gorgeously framed wall mirror. Take pleasure in a long soaking after your full day. To keep the 18th century ambiance, the TV/DVD are hidden in the colonial style birdhouse.
The antique wardrobe conceals your embroidered cotton bathrobes. The full bathroom features a pedestal sink, closeted toilet area and a seated, tiled shower with European shower massage. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, as well as fabulous shower amenities. You control your room temperature with your own wall mounted thermostat.
The Conservancy Room features prints of fox hunting and formal English gardens, reminding us all to support land conservancy efforts. We applaud the Williamsburg Land Conservancy for their efforts and encourage all to consider lending their support to maintain the oldest farms in English speaking America.
